I am also seriously considering giving up trying to maintain accurate kit graphics - a virtually impossible task - and replacing them with stylised graphics like this little chap in (1980s vintage) Partick Thistle kit:

Barring a storm of protest I will press ahead with this as these graphics are a good deal easier to draw, look better, and are likely to require less maintenance.
